"Don't Forget Me"

Don't Forget Me' is the second single to be taken from the latest Way Out West album 'Don't Look Now' released late last year. 'Don't Forget Me' is a beautifully emotive track that features the tight production of Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff as well as a magical vocal from Omi. Late last year the track was played by the likes of Pete Tong and Andi Durrant but now it gets a reworking from a number of high profile remixers and a full release in May.
SLAM, Kaito, Riley + Durrant as well as Way Out West themselves have all turned in a host of top notch remixes that cater for a broad spectrum of listeners. The SLAM mix is a dark and dirty minimal electro mix that sees Glasgow's finest twist Omi's vocal into something quite disturbing. Kaito aka Hiroshi Watanabe has produced a late night mix with a pulsating bassline that wouldn't be out of place in a late night set at Fabric. Trance producers Riley + Durrant have come up trumps with their big room anthemic mix that makes full use of Omi's vocal. Already a favourite with Tiesto this mix will no doubt get plays off some of the best DJs in the world and see a fair share of glowsticks. Finally Nick and Jody have produced two fine mixes that lend the track two totally new angles without taking away the essence of the track. All in all this is a tight little package and one that should not be missed.
